The Mission of the Papio-Missouri NRD is to wisely conserve, manage and enhance our soil, water, wildlife and forest resources for the good of all people residing within the district's boundaries. Wehrspann Lake at Chalco Hills Recreation Area (Highway 50 and Giles Road) Headquarters of the Papio-Missouri River NRD 402-444-6222. Prairie View Lake and Recreation Area(180th St, one-half mile south of Highway 36) 402-444-6222. Facilities at Wehrspann Lake and Prairie View (Open year-round - 6:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m.) No entrance fee or sticker required at NRD Park Facilities: Fishing and no-wake boating, Picnicking, Nature study, Hiking/biking trails.
