The slice of old Dixie offers a healthy dose of live New Orleans jazz mixed with tasty Cajun and Creole food that will satisfy even bubba appetites. Seafood and pasta specialties, too.

Start your meal off with such appetizers as catfish nuggets before you dive into heady entrees like fried oysters, crawfish and andouille fettucine, or Louisiana barbecued shrimp.

Come to Jazz, where there's always a party going on-and a Dixieland band in every bite.

Open daily; no reservations. All major credit cards accepted.

Poor quality even by chain restaurant standards Star OnStar OffStar OffStar OffStar Off - 02/07/2009 06:39:39
Robert Phillips from Omaha, NE
We recently had dinner at Jazz on a Saturday night. The restaurant was extremely noisy, to the point that our waitress had to ask us repeat our orders; normal conversation was only possible by speaking loudly. We were disappointed not only by the service, but even more so by the taste of each dish and the presentation. Our waitress brought our appetizer and just as she was placing the first one before my wife, the server brought our entrées. I could tell that our waitress was embarrassed but no apology was forthcoming. Our appetizer of Boudin Balls was completely without taste as was the sauce which was nothing more than an orange colored béchamel. Our entrees were likewise lacking in any flavor, other than the blackening spices. It was not that the redfish was old or fishy tasting it was simply without flavor. The plating can only be explained as piled. We were both very dissatisfied with the experience and will not return.
