Although I do love several Omaha sushi venues, Blue has the best happy hour specials and the fresh fish EVERYDAY! They offer free wifi and great service. The design of all three Blue restaurants is very well done to boot.
a little noisy but great sushi Star OnStar OnStar OnStar OnStar Off - 02/09/2009 19:42:35

We have dined at Blue Sushi Sake Grill numerous times and have enjoyed each dining excursion. My lovely wife is NOT a fan of sushi or sashimi; however their menu has a large variety of items available to satisfy her palate. One of the key ingredients to good sushi is the seasoning used in the sushi rice. I find their flavor to be a pleasing blend of sweet, sour and saltiness, it seems very reminiscent of the seasoning used for sushi in the southern islands of Japan. Regardless of whether I have ordered, rolled, boat, reverse or wrapped sushi the presentation has been pleasingly presented on the plates. The plating’s are inviting and refined in the true Japanese style, there always seems to be a harmonious of balance of color and symmetry of layout regardless of what variety of sushi I have ordered. I have had a couple of servings of sashimi that was beginning to lean towards the strong taste. The restaurant does have a tendency to be very noisy during busy times and normal conversation can be difficult. The wait staff is efficient but at times I have felt rushed between the serving of drinks, to appetizer, to the entrée. I am easily frustrated with feeling rushed between courses just to get the party in and out. This said, we still go back when I am in the mood for very good sushi.
